Acheron	(Ash-er-on)
	"I can't break a promise, no matter how crazy it is." - 20 year old da'kor - An atypical da'kor, Acheron prefers reading to killing. He is fascinated with elves, which results in him leaving his home and family in search of Kayn'dar. He has a tendency to trust others too much, and knows little of the truths of the world.

  

Lei'ella	(Lay-ell-ah)
	"No merit can be found in those that take what is not theirs to take - be it gold and silver, or another man's life." - 22 year old thief catcher - Lei'ella is Strathwood's local law enforcement. She decides to join Acheron because she feels that finding Kayn'dar will be of great benefit to her.

 

Berard	(Beh-rar-d)
	"Less talk, more fight. That's how it usually is with your lot." - 27 year old ex thief catcher turned thug - Berard is one of the many less desirable citizens who organise illegal da'kor fighting. After Lei'ella agrees to help Acheron, Berard takes a special interest in hunting the da'kor down.

 

Shiara	(She-ah-ra)
	"I can feel... he's still alive. Close, yet far away." - 18 year old elf - Shiara is a young elvan girl, who lost her best friend Kayn'dar to a dark magician twelve years ago. Unlike the other elves, she refuses to give him up for dead. She meets Acheron by chance in the forest, and is surprised that he is nothing like the da'kor she has heard about.

 

Kayn'dar	(Kay-in-dar)
	"If they send me away... I promise I'll come back for you, Shiara." - Unique elf with a special talent - Kayn'dar was a special young elf who disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Presumed dead many years ago, his whereabouts are now unknown.
